Me and poetry don't get along...
Well, technically, that's not true. I try my best to make friends with it but doesn't seem to like me at all. It doesn't return my calls or answer my emails. It has even turned down my repeated offers to take it on a nice little weekend trip to Old Sturbridge Village (seperate bedrooms, of course... I'm not a pervert, you know). While I may not be able to understand its attitude towards me, perhaps someone else will after reading this haiku. |
